Oak From Acorn
Rooted in being human

Breathwork. Honest conversation. Solid ground.

You’re not broken.
You’re human.

You don’t need another version of yourself to chase. Maybe you need a little room to breathe, and someone willing to sit with you.

Less fixing.
More living.

What if you didn’t have
to earn being enough?

There’s always another book. Another breakthrough. Another mountain to climb before you’re finally allowed to feel okay.

I’ve spent plenty of time on that treadmill myself. These days, I’m interested in something closer to the ground: a breath you can feel, a conversation where you can be honest, a life that actually feels like yours.

There’s room to grow without making yourself the problem.

Practical ways to find your footing

Real life doesn’t happen
on a meditation cushion.

It happens on the job, at the kitchen table, and in the moments you don’t know what comes next.

Back to the basics

Bluecollar
Breathwork

A practical approach to something you’re already doing. Less mystique. More attention to the breath you bring into an ordinary day.

What’s the approach?

We start with curiosity about how you breathe and what you notice. No performance to put on and no dramatic experience to chase. We can talk about whether this approach feels right for you.

Room to be heard

An honest
conversation

Sometimes you need a space where you can set things down. Say the thing you’ve been carrying. Hear yourself without rushing to an answer.

What does holding space mean?

Being present. Listening carefully. Giving you room to find your own words and your own next step. A conversation can begin without a plan to fix everything.

An interest taking root

Men’s work.
Human work.

For the parts of being a man that don’t come up over small talk. Responsibility. Friendship. Uncertainty. The desire to be known.

What’s taking shape?

Men’s work is a growing part of what I’m exploring. If honest connection with other men is something you’re looking for too, I’d like to hear from you.

A little about the person

Work boots.
A home by the river.
An open door.

I’m Scott. I pay my bills working in coal mines and industrial places. I live by a river. And I’m drawn to the kind of work where people can put down the act and be themselves.

I’ve spent years looking for the path, reading the books, and trying to become the person I thought I was supposed to be. I’m still learning. But I’m making more room for connection, for joy, and for the life that’s right here.

What I bring is a willingness to listen, a practical approach, and some well-earned respect for how complicated being human can be.
